INDOLE
Abjection is understood as the horror and/or disgust experienced when the boundaries of self are threatened. This includes all aspects of the body (including bodily functions and fluids) that are considered inappropriate for public displays or conversation. Yet people joy in viewing foul content- whether that be body horror in films or extreme porn. INDOLE (a title that refers to the chemical compound that causes smells in faeces and cadavers as well as rather contradictory, sexual fluids and jasmine) is a fetish magazine that aims to display the abject within that world.
